This will explain the process of how I handle inquiries at Renaissance Havanese.

If you questions, I first encourage you to familiarize yourself with our process and utilize the info on the website to get acquainted with the Havanese breed and also with my specific breeding philosophies, goals and expectations.  A personal introduction and conversation is a crucial part of my interview process. Just because someone makes an offer of payment does not guarantee anyone a Havanese puppy from Renaissance Havanese. I have a unique responsibility to every puppy that I place, to ensure lifetime placement. I also have  a responsibility to every client to ensure that the relationship with their Havanese will thrive! I hope that you will see how this benefits you as well.

We do not engage in price bargaining. If price is a concern, it would be better to consider another breed or adoption, rather than overlook health testing and reputability of a breeder. This mistake likely cost people more in the long run.

As part of my responsibility to each puppy, I must conduct a brief interview, to ascertain if you and your family would be a good fit for a puppy. This is a two-way conversation, I want you to learn about me as well. You should be confident in your decision BEFORE you proceed to our approval process.

The cost for a Havanese puppy can vary among breeders. Price can vary depending on several factors, such as age, training, championship credentials or point status and health certifications. Our prices reflect current  price point for a rare, pure bred Havanese, pet/puppy from health tested parents!

Keep in mind, when searching for an experienced and  professional breeder that an annual visit to the Vet does not qualify a Havanese as “health tested”. Health testing is generally conducted by Veterinary Specialists, these specialists conduct testing within strict guidelines set forth by breed clubs, The Orthopedic Foundation For Animals and the Canine Eye Registry Foundation.
